Willibald Farm is a growing farm distillery, brewery and restaurant located in Waterloo Region, just outside of the small village of Ayr.
Willibald has a strong focus on high quality, premium beer and spirits that are made 100% on our farm. Our on-site restaurant focuses on emphasizing what’s fresh and grown locally and influenced heavily by our pizza oven, and on-site beef cattle.
We are seeking an experienced, passionate restaurant manager who will lead our restaurant operations.
Duties & Requirements :
- Oversee daily operations of all hospitality related operations, including working directly with our executive chef
- Manage and train a team of servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure top-notch service and hospitality
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, including cost control, revenue generation, and inventory management
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to safety and hygiene
- Analyze guest feedback and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovative practices
- Coordinate with marketing and events teams to plan and execute promotional activities and special events
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field is not required, but is an asset
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build, inspire, and maintain a high-performing team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering a memorable customer experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in restaurant management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Must own a vehicle and possess a valid drivers license
