Make an impact with our Indigenous Services External Financial Advisor team as an Senior Accounting Technician. As a skilled and culturally sensitive accountant working closely with Indigenous communities, you will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance, support, and expertise to our Indigenous clients. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll services for MNP Indigenous clients.
• Take the lead in preparing and maintaining payroll and related government remittances / filings, recording of sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, payroll and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) transactions.
• Initiate client files and support the development of budgets and administrative planning.
• Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany and point of sale (POS) / system uploads.
• Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss with supervisor or engagement partner to develop resolutions.
• Communicate with government agencies regarding information requests, assessments and payment installments.
• Build collaborative relationships with clients and team members, supporting an environment of teamwork and open communication.
