About The Opportunity Position Summary Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. Essential Job Functions Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility Education & Experience High School or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in a production and / or warehouse setting Frequent walking and standing required Occasional lifting required All employees should be aware of their responsibilities, and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems. Maintain daily, monthly work order and cycle counts performing inventory adjustments to meet the customer needs and business flow Champion and troubleshoot inventory control problems in a timely fashion Understand key processes, tools and operations for efficient movement of goods through the manufacturing process Thorough knowledge of SAP to perform daily, weekly, and month-end reports Keen ability to drive organization’s policies and procedures and guiding the facility’s processes Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
