Pinchin is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our St. John’s, NL office. As the ideal candidate, you are excited by the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio and provide effective leadership to your project team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Project Manager will lead our team of technicians in performing Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and occupational health and safety (OHS) consulting. The IEQ & OHS group offers a range of consulting services, including mould and water damage, indoor air quality, and hazardous materials in industrial, commercial, and residential real estate industries. The group also provides integrated solutions to construction, industrial, commercial, and manufacturing clients in assessing and implementing health and safety and occupational hygiene programs.
Responsibilities include :
- Preparing proposals and project cost estimates for IEQ & OHS projects
- Supervising and performing IEQ assessments
- Supervising microbial contamination (mould), indoor air quality (IAQ), and infection control consulting services, including assessments, contract preparation, and remediation / abatement work
- Developing OH&S policies, programs, and procedures
- Conducting on-site assessments and audits, completing reports
- Managing occupational hygiene surveys
- Supervising, training, and mentoring Project Technologists
- Developing and delivering OH&S training courses
- Ensuring quality control and safety standards are met
- Developing business relationships and participating in marketing initiatives
- Managing project financials including WIP, A / R, and invoicing
Qualifications :
A degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, or related sciencesProfessional health and safety designation (e.g., CIH, ROH, CRSP, CSP) or actively pursuing certificationMinimum of 3 years relevant experience in IEQ and occupational hygiene / safetyExperience in consulting or project management is an assetProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong interpersonal, communication, organizational skillsValid driver’s license and willingness to travelWhat We Offer :
