Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating costs and materials for pre-engineered steel buildings and will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for pre-engineered steel building projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to identify cost-effective solutions and value-engineering opportunities.
- Work closely with clients to clarify project requirements and provide cost-effective proposals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure the availability of necessary materials.
- Track project budgets and costs to ensure estimates align with actual expenses and identify potential cost overruns.
- Provide support in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new building technologies.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for pre-engineered steel buildings or related construction fields.Strong knowledge of steel building systems, materials, and construction processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.Why Join Us :
