AECOM is seeking a Procurement Specialist to work closely with and directly support the Procurement Manager in a full-time, hybrid position. You’ll be a key driver in keeping procurement activities running smoothly, suppliers aligned, and projects on track. You’ll work closely with a supportive Procurement Manager and learn the full procurement lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to support for the Procurement Manager across current and future projects
  • Support the Procurement Manager in developing and maintaining procurement strategies plans and client deliverables
  • Actively build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and project teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomes
  • Bring brilliant, creative ideas to share with clients and enhance project outcomes
  • Assist with procurement planning, scheduling, and tracking of materials and services
  • Support contract and purchase order administration from award through delivery
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Client team to keep everyone aligned
  • Help resolve supplier issues and keep communication flowing
  • Maintain procurement logs, reports, and dashboard

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline : engineering, finance, business, etc.
  • 6+ years experience of procurement related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in procurement in a project-based environments on large infrastructure capital project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented team player who enjoys supporting others
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Someone who takes initiative and loves a “let’s get it done” mindset
  • Understand, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions is an asset
