Thanks to rapid growth in our business, we are now looking for an additional Licensed Sprinkler Fitter to help us continue our mission.ResponsabilitésThe Position- Your goal in this position is to inspect, and perform repairs, on various types of sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, and fire pumps- You’re someone who not only has great mechanical aptitude, but who also has a commitment to learning and development- You’re able to learn our full line of products and codes, and commit yourself to our extensive training programs- You’re also a natural communicator and relationship builder, able to build trust with our clients through your confidence and competence- You’re honest and trustworthy, and dedicated to the rolePractically speaking, you will : - Travel to client sites throughout the GTA and adjacent areas.- Perform annual, monthly inspections of all types of sprinkler systems, standpipe systems and fire pumps- Complete inspection reports and document all services using our barcode reporting software- Perform periodic maintenance and repairs- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings- Install sprinkler systems to engineered drawings- Assess deficiency repairs and system modifications to assist sales staff with quoting repairs and projects- Completion of deficiency repairs on all types of sprinkler systems- Perform modifications and density upgrades to existing sprinkler systems- Must be able to work with minimum supervisionQualifications- Licensed 427A Sprinkler Fitter or registered apprentice with current Ontario registration- Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards, and the Ontario Building and Fire Code- Experience installing and maintaining all types of sprinkler systems- Experience with inspections and troubleshooting of wet, dry, pre-action and standpipe systems- Fire pump and fire hydrant experience would be an asset.- Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, Novec, Fm200 and kitchen system experience would be an asset- Good communication skills with experience working with computer based reporting systems as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word- Provide your own set of hand tools- Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordCe que nous offrons-This is a full-time permanent position, working with varying hours between Monday to Friday and between 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm, dependent on job site location- We offer a highly competitive starting hourly wage, as well as extensive benefits, company vehicle and gas card, cell phone and technology, and provide full training opportunities- This is a terrific opportunity to do highly interesting work with a stable, growing company and make a great salary while doing so
