Job descriptionCollaborate with teams from several departments to define metrics guidelines and strategies for the effective use of data Establish links between existing data sources and identify relationships that add value Set up and maintain automated PowerBI dashboards Manage the repatriation and movement of data using the ETL NiFi system Automate various manual data processing tasks as much as possible Make the data visual to simplify the communication of results to the teams Assist in the development of data management policies and procedures Conduct research and make recommendations on data infrastructure database technologies analysis and synthesis tools Implement tools and libraries that will help employees interact more effectively with large amounts of data Standardize how and where corporate data is created stored transported and shared Aggregate sets of data to then clean and structure them Skilled in manipulating and interacting with large volume complex data from various sources Mastery of data flow concepts data management data conversion and optimization Good knowledge of products : Apache NiFi PowerBI Knowledge of databases such as Oracle SQL MySQL Good knowledge of Python R SQL languages Basic knowledge of AWS EC2 S3 RDS Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects Knowledge of hotel operations an asset Bachelors degree in computer science information system management or any other equivalent qualification Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Good command of French and English Autonomous Resourceful Methodical Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously High concern for a job well done and user satisfaction Great ability to learn and adapt Good communicator
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a resourceful candidate who speaks well and for whom customer service is important. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Information Technology the candidate will have to exploit large amounts of data from multiple sources to optimize the results of the company. It should simplify access and help identify crossings and interpretations with high strategic values. He will constantly seek to advance the state of the art in how data is used and applied to meet industry needs. The diversity of tasks assigned will allow the candidate to put all his knowledge to good use and to learn constantly.
