Payroll and HR Technician
Harnois Énergies is recruiting for a Payroll and HR Technician position in an environment that values human collaboration and innovation.
About the Role
As a Payroll and HR Technician, you will support employee onboarding, maintain HR records, assist with payroll processing, and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for new employee arrivals (PDAs, cards, access, etc.).
- Process and create hires in the HR software.
- Follow up on missing documents and enrollments in group insurance.
- Administer the Service Recognition Program.
- Produce HR reports and documents (labour movements, employment confirmations, etc.).
- Support payroll validation and answer employee questions.
- Maintain and update employee files and participate in terminations.
- Participate in process improvements and replace the receptionist as needed.

DEC in office automation or administration (or equivalent).Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in the Office Suite (intermediate Excel).Experience with HR and payroll systems (ADP, asset).Strong organizational skills, rigor, and confidentiality.Autonomous, proactive, with good judgment.Fluency in French and English, both oral and written (English is required for communication with our English-speaking teams).Apply
