Freelance Hebrew Annotator

Location : Anywhere (remote / work from home)

Language needed : Hebrew, English

Project Duration : 15 weeks

Preferred availability : 20 hours per week or more

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for a detail-oriented Hebrew Annotator, to support our data processing and AI training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing and annotating text from various document types, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data preparation for OCR and machine learning applications.

This position demands a strong sense of autonomy, adaptability, and precision. A keen eye for detail will be a key asset for success.

Role Responsibilities :

• Transcribe content (handwritten and typed text) from scanned or digital documents.
• Annotate text (draw bounding boxes around text lines) using annotation tools.
• Review and verify transcribed data for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain consistent labeling standards and adhere to project guidelines.
• Report issues and suggest improvements to enhance OCR performance.

Requirements :

Idiomatic fluency in Hebrew.

High proficiency in English both written and spoken.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Must have access to a computer and be able to work effectively in a remote environment.

Ability to meet daily quality standards and have strong attention to detail.

Flexibility, ability to adapt and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.

Ability to track, analyze, and report issues.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Problem-solving abilities.
