Job Description :

The Account Management Representative is responsible for retaining and growing UPS Capital's customer business. He / She uses available resources to learn customers’ businesses, identify business needs, and proactively contact customers to review UPS Capital’s products and services and meet their needs. This position is responsible for prioritizing customer opportunities, focusing attention on accounts with the greatest opportunity and likelihood of success, creating contacts, answering customer questions. The Account Management Representative works with account managers, Business Development Officers and sales support representatives to coordinate account strategies and contract agreements, as well as provide appropriate account alignment.

  • Job duties include, but are not limited to;

On-boarding / implementing new customers, educating new customers on our products and services

Managing customer accounts and resolving problems as they arise

Monitoring customer activity to ensure positive trending and profitability

Scheduling and conducting regular account management calls with customers to ensure that our agreement continue to meet our customers’ needs

Identifying penetration opportunities, and executing sales support and administration whenever necessary.

  • Understands how shipping protection works, is aware of our competitors as well as our general position in the market relative to them.

    Identify and assess our customers’ business needs through various means, such as conducting customer analyses, competitive analyses, and through regular interaction with the customer.

    Create strategies to maximize revenue and service levels by learning about, and integrating, knowledge of competitors’ strategies, industry trends, and will therefore be able to positively position UPS’s capabilities competitively.

    Attention to details and is able to accurately read and interpret financial reporting in order to make recommendations to our customers.

    Has basic understanding of supply chain concepts, and the ability to identify risks in the supply chain in order to help our customers mitigate their losses and keep their accounts profitable with us.

    Job Requirements

    Bachelor Degree – Logistics / Supply Chain / Finance / Business

    Professional Fluency in English (written and spoken)

    Professional Fluency in French (written and spoken)

    Day Shift Schedule Monday to Friday : 8AM to 5PM

    Hybrid working model; work from home some days of the week, presence required in the office at 1221, 32nd avenue, Lachine some days of the week.
