Job description

Job Description :

  • 5-7 years hands on experiences.
  • Architecture, Implementation, building swift ring, enabling and configuring of swift and troubleshooting.
  • Configuring cluster, adding nodes, deploying changes to the swift cluster, configuring 1space, cluster tuning technique.
  • The candidate should be good at Swift automation, encryption and data protection methods.
  • Candidate should know how to fetch S3 specific information, 1space mapping & Swift stack metadata concept & swift stack file access. Large object / dynamic large object concepts.

Skill Requirements :

  • Good Knowledge on Object based storage concepts.
  • Good knowledge of installing Swift storage.
  • Hands-on experience with SwiftStack storage deployment and Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with SwiftStack storage Cluster configuration.
  • Planning and Managing Capacity.
  • Swift Stack Cluster Monitoring.
  • SwiftStack Cluster Hardware Requirements.
  • Operations Cookbook.
  • SwiftStack Security Overview.
  • Basic Cluster Settings & Upgrades.
  • Cluster Storage Policies, Datacenter Regions & Zones
  • Networking, Load Balancing.
  • Node Configuration and Management
  • Storage Device Configuration and Management
  • Object API Features and Middleware
  • Cluster Tuning.
  • Storage Users.

  • Troubleshooting disk failure issues and replacing failed disks.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Successfully interact through phone and email with the respective Team as candidates solve their problems.
  • Handling Incidents , Creating and managing Service request , Managing Change records using service Now, Joining Customer Tab calls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Perform data migration tasks to transition the customer from the previous Swift Stack infrastructure to the new infrastructure.
  • Maintain case ownership and keep customers informed of progress on their issues by contacting them periodically with updates.
  • Consistently meet / exceed customer account needs; identify opportunities to enhance delivery of company service and support goals.
  • Suggest solutions to the customer proactively to continuously expand and improve customer experience.
  • Creation and updating SOPs.
  • Work independently with a focused direction while adding value and contributing to overall team performance.
