Salary : OVERVIEW

Vertex is seeking passionate and dedicated Project Based Field Supervisors to partner and lead our Operations field team's with various Western Canada based projects. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals with experience within the oil & gas industry with a solid leadership background in industrial / tank cleaning, maintaining Alberta OH&S standards and effectively leads for safety and success.

We are seeking local candidates from the Sherwood Park / Nisku areawith a proven track record of supporting and leading project crews, professionally, successfully and safely - someone who is highly organized, time management sensitive, has strong communication skills and enjoys leading and team building. We are looking for individuals available to take the next step in their career with us starting in February or March, 2026.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in the oil and gas industry
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
• Has required H2S Alive, CSO and First Aid safety tickets
• Ability to maintain and provide negative drug and alcohol (D&A) test results as required for access to client sites
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work alone and with other people
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Physical stamina and endurance required to perform repetitive tasks
• Experience maintaining Alberta OH&S standards
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills
• Skills in administrative tasks, organization and time-management
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
