Job Description

Our government client is seeking an Records Clerk to join their team on a 6 month contract (potential to extend another 6 months). This role will be fully on site near Younge & Bloor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, classifying, coding, logging, and storing records.

Responsibilities

  • Classify, code, cross-reference, log, and store records.
  • Perform administrative checks and reviews of records.
  • Scan records and ensure proper digital archiving.
  • Pack records boxes, lifting up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Label, prepare, and transfer information files according to established records management life-cycle procedures and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Previous records management experience
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and MS Teams
  • Experience with Sharepoint an asset
