Duties
As the Fire Crew Leader at Pukaskwa National Park, your primary responsibilities are to supervise the fire crew members and deliver wildland fuel management, prescribed fire and wildfire suppression services in support of field units’ fire management programs. As a part of the Resource Conservation and Pukaskwa National Park Team, you will assist in a variety of projects on natural and cultural resources management, vegetation management, incident response and management including compliance. The job can be physically demanding, requiring that you work in remote locations of the park, under adverse weather conditions with limited means of communications.
