Dual Mobile Lab Patient Technician – LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

Status : Regular Part Time | Shifts : 6 : 00am – 4 : 00pm on various days | Start Date : ASAP | Vaccination Requirement : Fully vaccinated for Covid‑19 and booster shot required.
Responsibilities
- Organize daily schedule of visits to facilities and private residences to collect specimens as per physicians’ requests, planning route according to courier times, specimen integrity, and required travel time.
- Perform phlebotomies, connect / disconnect Holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings.
- Collect and deliver specimens to designated labs for testing.
- Accession, spin, separate and prepare for transport to reference lab as required.
- Book patient appointments, request required information from patients, explain specimen collection process and ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
- Liaise with doctors, facility staff, and CCAC staff regarding patient problems, changes in scheduling, specimen collection procedures, and other matters.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and access to a vehicle.Satisfactory criminal reference check.Phlebotomy experience.Excellent communication skills to relate with a wide variety of people.Problem‑solving skills and the ability to think quickly on the feet.Ability to maintain strict standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.ECG training or experience is an asset.Benefits
