Dual Mobile Lab Patient Technician – LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

Status : Regular Part Time | Shifts : 6 : 00am – 4 : 00pm on various days | Start Date : ASAP | Vaccination Requirement : Fully vaccinated for Covid‑19 and booster shot required.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily schedule of visits to facilities and private residences to collect specimens as per physicians’ requests, planning route according to courier times, specimen integrity, and required travel time.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect / disconnect Holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings.
• Collect and deliver specimens to designated labs for testing.
• Accession, spin, separate and prepare for transport to reference lab as required.
• Book patient appointments, request required information from patients, explain specimen collection process and ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
• Liaise with doctors, facility staff, and CCAC staff regarding patient problems, changes in scheduling, specimen collection procedures, and other matters.
