Senior Highway Design Engineer

Location : Brampton, Markham, London or Hamilton, ON.

Join the Transportation team in Ontario and work on a variety of highway and roadway projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Prepare preliminary design reports (PDR), design criteria, preliminary and detailed designs associated with new and / or the rehabilitation of divided highways, arterial regional roads, collector roads, and local roads.
• Prepare preliminary designs for CADD staff and review drawings for compliance with applicable industry and client standards.
• Prepare Contract Specifications, Tender Documents, and Applications for Agency Approvals.
• Review and issue finalized Shop Drawings.
• Coordinate and mentor junior staff working within the division.
• Liaise with Clients, Sub‑consultants, Contractors and construction supervision staff.
• Assist with the preparation of Proposals for future projects.
