Production Supervisor - aggregates
Job descriptionCSG Talent is currently looking for a Plant Production Supervisor with experience in quarry operations including rock, gravel, cement and other construction materials.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for measuring and improving key metrics which includes safety, productivity, resources, and labor.
This role is perfect for someone with a desire to become a plant manager in the future.Work schedule is Monday to Friday.
Full relocation assistance to Sunshine CoastWhat you'll get to doPlan and schedule plant maintenance to maximize productivity and optimize the utilization of manpower, resources, and equipment.
Supervise and direct production crewsReport daily production and track KPIs of plant performance.Ensure material production meets quality control standards.
Schedule plant and mobile repair and maintenance internally and with outside vendors.Ensure proper staffing levels are kept for the efficiency of the plant at all times.
Essential Experience and Skills5 years of work experience in aggregate maintenance / productionPerfect leadership skills with the ability to communicate, concisely, and respectfully.
Ability to work in heavy industry environment, fluctuating shift schedules, extended periods moving back and forth to all areas of the plant, and occasionally lifting heavy objects.
Preferred Experience and SkillsKnowledge of aggregate maintenance / production equipment and processes.Analytical abilities and comfort with using data and objective information for making decisions.
