Context

ACENSI is expanding its consulting teams in Québec as part of a major recruitment wave focused on Capital Markets / Investment Banking (CIB) environments.

We are currently looking for a Market Application Support Analyst to support critical Front and Mid Office applications within a large international investment banking organization (client confidential).

You will join a high-impact production support team responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of trading and market systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Market Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Production Support (L2/L3)

• Providing application support for highly critical Front/Mid Office platforms
• Investigating and resolving production incidents in real time
• Ensuring service continuity and meeting SLA requirements (24/5 environment)

Incident Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Analyzing logs, data flows, and batch processing issues
• Performing root cause analysis and proposing long-term fixes
• Working closely with development teams to deliver permanent solutions

Business Interaction

• Acting as a key point of contact for Trading, Middle Office, Risk, and IT teams
• Understanding business impacts and prioritizing incidents accordingly
• Supporting releases, deployments, and production changes
• Contributing to monitoring automation and support process optimization
• Documenting procedures and sharing best practices across teams

Required Technical Skills

Must-have

• Strong experience in L2/L3 application support in critical environments
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (queries, troubleshooting, data validation)
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments
• Solid understanding of production workflows (incident management, ITIL

Nice-to-have

• Experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking (CIB)
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, ELK, Geneos, Dynatrace, or equivalent
• Exposure to Front Office / Middle Office systems

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application support or production support
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure
• Service-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused
• Fluent French, professional English (international banking environment)
