About the Role
Join to apply for the Automation Engineer (CEP) role at BBA Consultants located in Québec City. As a CEP in Automation, you will work in the Process Control and Operational Technologies department, supporting plant automation systems and client projects.

Responsibilities
- Program automated systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, operator interfaces)
- Develop and maintain solid client relationships
- Participate in executing detailed engineering projects
- Draft technical documents, calculation notes and study reports
- Participate in project management (execution, costs, schedules)
- Attend internal or client coordination meetings
- Perform site surveys
- Assist with equipment commissioning, both onsite and remotely
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automated production engineering or equivalent trainingMember of a Canadian professional engineering associationAvailable for short‑ and long‑term work assignments at client locations or sitesValid driver’s licenceAdvanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with BBA offices and clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projectsAdvanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with BBA offices and clients in QuébecAsset : interest or relevant experience in automation and instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectorsAsset : experience in the mining sectorAsset : ASP Construction cardBenefits
