The Dispatch Coordinator focuses on deliveries and scheduling of trucks or tankers to ensure timely receipt and delivery of shipments.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and respond to service inquiries and complaints, working with Customer Service to minimize impact on customer operations.
- Assist existing and potential customers in establishing delivery schedules that best meet their needs.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, distribution partners (including bulk distributors), and the Sales Manager to devise storage and delivery solutions for customers.
- Implement and manage processes for handling small equipment returns with customers and coordinate with Purchasing.
- Coordinate bulk delivery slips with Accounting and Customer Service, providing backup to freight and invoicing processes.
- Update customer contracts and price books for regional customers monthly using the NOLA index.
- Create tanker schedules for bulk product deliveries and forecast / monitor stock levels for the Eastern Region.
- Coordinate preparation of contract agreements for existing customers and set up new customers via the Quick Connect Form.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs and issues; identify and evaluate new opportunities for profitable business.
- Research potential customers through the internet, trade associations, and existing customer base to determine potential and prepare written proposals / quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers by introducing new products and pricing; work with the Sales team to identify and evaluate opportunities for profitability.
- Meet with customers to identify, secure, and set up third-party bulk delivery contracts through the distribution network.
- Strengthen the Recochem brand by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints in collaboration with Customer Service.
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Ability to produce diverse reports in a concise fashion.Able to establish and maintain internal and external customer relations.Work Arrangement
This position is a hybrid role, requiring three days a week in the office.
