Overview of the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Schedule : 5 on – 4 off; 5 on – 5 off; 4 on – 5 off : 12 hours per shift; nights
Hourly Rate : $42.98
Term : 18 months

Excellent trouble shooting skills able to work collaboratively with all departmentsHighly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimum supervisionEffective communication skills, able to complete computer-based workordersYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications :
Millwright with a journeyperson ticket / license or certificate of qualificationExcited and willing to work night shift (7pm - 7am) including the availability for weekendsProven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant (preferred)Any of the following would be considered an asset :
Sanitary Stainless steel welding experienceElectrical and PLC troubleshooting experience4th class power engineering certification or Steam Boiler experienceRefrigeration and air handling systems experienceHow you will make contributions that matter :
