Production Shift Lead (94636)

Working Model :  Onsite

Location :  Saskatoon, SK

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are looking for a Production Shift Lead like you to supervise, lead and train production and warehouse staff members with a focus on efficiently producing top quality products while adhering to safety standards.

Formula for Success : You Will…

  • Produce quality products in the most efficient and safe manner.
  • Lead and development of other employees on shift. Train, re-train and instruct employees in all aspects of their jobs.
  • Always maintain proper housekeeping and continuously upgrade the standard as well as maintaining production statistics.
  • Assume responsibility for department : safety; inspections; audits; training and accident / incident reporting.
  • Assume responsibility for security and control of the facility on the off shifts.
  • Interact with operators, production staff, and warehouse staff, QC Manager, Quality Control Coordinator, maintenance staff, Production Supervisor and Manager to carry out daily responsibilities.

Ingredients for Success : What We Look for in You…

  • Operator Level 2 in Solid Core process and manufacturing methodology.
  • Ability to direct and motivate team members within shift.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to legislative and corporate policies, particularly in areas of EHS.
  • Understanding of Quality requirements and their impact on Customer service.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision to meet schedules and deadlines with precision.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and computer related skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps / ladders as well as lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, peers, and supervisors particularly in areas of job instruction & quality.
