Job Posting : Summer Youth Leadership Camp – Program Leader

Champlain Heights Community Centre is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to work in our youth leadership camp for youth 11-14 years old. Youth Leadership Summer Day Camp will take part in out trips, leadership games and activities, workshops, presentations, guest speakers, and community volunteering.

Qualifications :

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of age and developmentally appropriate day camp activities & out trips for youth
• Experience working in a day camp setting or other leadership based programs with youth
• Good communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and to lead groups in activities
• Ability to work with youth who are from diverse cultural, developmental and economic backgrounds
• Fluency in a second language is an asset

Job Specifications :

Conditions of Employment :

Rate of Pay : $22.00 per hour + 4% in lieu of vacation

Job Duration : Up to 11 weeks of employment between June 13thto August 29th, 2025

Hours of work : 30 to 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays

Employment is dependent on completion of a criminal record check.
