Journeyperson Pipefitter

Position Summary

Journeyperson Pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Project Details

Project Name : Mount Bracey Compressor Station

Nearest City : Prince George, B.C (Camp Project)

Shift : 14 Days on / 7 Days off

Travel pay : 400$ / shift

Camp retention : $25 / day

Core Accountabilities

• Assist with installation, testing and rigging of pipe spools and materials.
• Assist with Bolt up of piping spools and torquing of the flanges.
• Assist with Hydrotesting of piping spools.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in safely moving equipment and aid in other activities.
• Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings to identify potential hazards and measures to eliminate or minimize them.
• Return tools back to the proper area after the job is complete or at the end of the shift.
