Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MammogramTechnologist to join our healthcare team. As a MammogramTechnologist you will be responsible for performing highqualitymammography procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment ofbreast diseases.

You will work closely with radiologists healthcareproviders and patients to ensure accurate and timely imagingresults while maintaining a safe and comfortableenvironment.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Perform mammography examinations following establishedprotocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and positionpatients for mammography procedures ensuring patient comfort andsafety.
  • Operate mammography equipment andadjust settings to obtain optimal images.
  • Review and evaluate images for technical quality ensuringproper identification and documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate andtimely imaging results.
  • Maintain accuratepatient records and documentation in accordance with regulatoryrequirements.
  • Ensure compliance with allsafety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Educate patients on the mammography process and addressany questions or concerns.
  • Perform routinemaintenance and quality control checks on mammographyequipment.
  • Stay current with advancements inmammography technology and techniques through continuing educationand training

Qualifications :

  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Current registration and good standing with the Collegeof Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Maintained competence in position by attending staffmeetings.
  • Motivation and openness forcontinuous improvement by establishing personal objectives andparticipating in annual employee performance reviews.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education andtraining.
  • Effective decisionmaking andproblemsolving skills.
  • Ability to workindependently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
