Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is a mobile craft beverage canning operation that services the Maritime craft beverage market. Our clients include prominent craft beer and cider producers in the region.
We supply cans, packaging materials, brewery chemicals, scientific instruments, and other adjunct materials for craft brewing.
In addition to our popular mobile canning service, our other services include graphic design, quality control, co-packaging, laboratory testing, repair & maintenance of packaging equipment, engineering, and consulting services for everyone from small craft breweries to international brands.
About the role :
Mobile Canning Technicians are the front line of Craft Coast Canning and are in the unique position of dealing directly with the customers, while also being responsible for completing production and maintenance work.
We’re looking for a Mobile Canning Technician with a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract. All necessary training will be provided.

Location :
Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is based in Noonan, NB. Although part of our operations is based just outside of Fredericton, we service the entire Maritimes.
This role will be primarily packaging beverages at our customers’ facilities, but the successful candidate should be prepared for frequent travel between Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and P.
E.I. We will be accepting applicants located in Fredericton and Moncton as well.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to customer facilities and arriving at agreed times for canning production
- Work closely with another operator while on the job
- Install, align, dismantle, and move canning machinery and other equipment, such as compressors, and printers, using hand and power tools in different breweries
- Inspect the can quality with precision and measuring tools
- Do the seam test, check the seam dimensions, and make sure everything is within the range
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings of the machine to determine the error
- Adjust canning machines and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on canning machines
- Ensuring the Craft Coast Canning’s standards for customer experience, product quality, seam integrity, and sanitization of the machines are upheld
- Customer interactions and taking customer feedback and suggestions to improve the canning process
Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications :
- A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma.
- Able to communicate in French
- Flexibility with hours and duties, and a willingness to travel frequently.
- A strong interest in the craft beverage industry.
- Solid leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with customers.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in developing technical skills (you will be setting up, operating, and troubleshooting automated packaging equipment).
