Intermediate Integration, Verification, Validation and Quality (IVVQ) Test Engineer

Thales Canada, Defence & Security is engaged in supporting the Canadian Army’s Land Command, Control, Communications & Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC4ISR) systems which enable critical decisions on a daily basis. Together with industry partners, Thales is building on the existing networks and applications to enhance digitized operations, support communications between joint and allied forces, and monitor and defend against the threats and evolving capabilities of potential adversaries.

Location : Ottawa, Canada. This role is hybrid.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Write test plans and test procedures that will properly verify and validate the product.
• Plan and execute test events.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to development of traceability matrices.
• Develop test cases.
• Work with system engineers in identifying and analyzing defects.
• Raise project issues or risks and track to resolution.
• Provide test reports and status updates on test activities.
• Deploy methodologies (including metrics), tools and platforms necessary for test activities.
• Observe test guidelines and company internal processes.

Compensation

Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range : CAD 78,355.41 – 138,789.56 annual (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation target).
