We are seeking an Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) Regional Manager – North America to lead our North America Risk Consulting team. This role can be based in one of our United States offices or in Toronto, Canada. Working in collaboration with the Global Head of Allianz Risk Consulting, this role includes the ARC global business objectives as well as ensuring continuous improvement in the region based on the strategy, changing business needs and feedback, while taking leadership responsibility for the regional team across Allianz Commercial North America (US and Canada).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the regional ARC team, with disciplinary responsibility for all direct reporting staff.
  • Relationship management within the region, Risk Control functions and Risk Control Line of Business.
  • Deliver the strategy of ARC in the region, actively supporting and promoting changes in ways of working.
  • Responsible for the implementation of all technology solutions, KPIs, and productivity initiatives.
  • Build trust in global and local strategy through active communication of strategic messages.
  • Active collaboration and communication with external clients, marketing teams, and insurance institutions.
  • Ownership of the regional budget, ensuring the region operates within allocated budget.
  • Managing director for ARC LLC, ensuring all legal, financial and budget requirements are met.

Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

  • 11+ years of Risk Engineering and Risk Business experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading teams.
  • 3+ years of Sales and Marketing experience.
  • Communication, presentation and relationship / stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Risk Assessment and Management.
  • Evaluation, measurement and analytics.
  • Change Management.
