Together, they create a dynamic and positive workplace, empowering employees to achieve their best while contributing to a greener future.Position Overview : As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting to senior management. This position is pivotal in driving financial efficiency, supporting project management, and enabling strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities : Financial Operations : Oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Budgeting & Forecasting : Manage cash flow, create budgets, and provide financial forecasts to optimize operations.Job Costing : Perform detailed cost analyses and develop pricing strategies for both commercial and residential projects.Project Accounting : Handle progress billing, inventory management, and project-related financial reporting.Tax & Compliance : Oversee yearly tax returns, monthly HST / PST remittances, WSIB filings, and other government reporting.Custom Reporting : Develop tailored financial tools to provide monthly profit and loss analyses.Reconciliations : Manage accounts payable / receivable reconciliations.Collaboration : Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and financial forecasting.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting; CPA designation is an asset.Experience in job costing, payroll, accounting, and compliance.Proficiency with financial software such as QuickBooks Online, SAGE, and RISE, along with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Experience collaborating with project managers on budgeting and financial planning.Open-minded, self-motivated, and driven to excel in a dynamic, fast-growing industry.What’s Offered : Comprehensive Benefits : Extensive package tailored to employee needs.Growth Opportunities : Clear pathways for advancement into larger roles.Dynamic Team : Work with a talented group of professionals with a proven track record.Flexible Work Environment : Potential for remote work in a fast-paced, innovative settingIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, we would be happy to schedule a phone call to discuss the position further.
