Overview

Fountain Tire Edmonton (Heritage), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as an Experienced Automotive Tire Technician .

Pay : Starting at $20 / hour + labour commission (wage depending on experience)

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and / or repairing car, suv, & light truck tires
  • Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
  • Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!

    • Working conditions :

  • Weekday shifts with alternating weekend shifts
  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
  • Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
  • This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
  • This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

    • Qualifications :

  • We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running - 2 year of experience required as a Tire Tech
  • A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
