Grocery Manager

What you’ll do:

• Ensure efficient department operations, proper task allocation, and execution of operational standards to deliver consistent results.
• Set clear goals, manage performance, coach and train team members, and ensure the right people are in the right roles to meet department objectives.
• Drive department profitability by meeting sales, margin, expense, pricing, and inventory targets while actively monitoring performance and taking action to improve results.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, merchandising standards, and marketing initiatives while adapting to local market needs.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with the Food Store Manager and other department managers and will have 15-20 direct reports. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support, community, and collaboration.

The Customers: The Grocery Manager will build strong relationships with customers and members by delivering exceptional service, listening to local needs, and ensuring the store reflects the values and priorities of the community it serves.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• Have 3+ years of relevant customer service experience with 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• Have a Grade 12 education preferred.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset.
• Are familiar with food operations within a similar environment
• You are honest and trustworthy.
