Hays Manufacturing has partnered with a client to look for their next Production Planner!
Reporting to the Plant Manager you would be working with Production staff, Procurement, Maintenance, and Logistics to make sure the production lines would be running accordingly to the company needs.

The Production Planner responsibilities would be :
- Schedule and coordinate efficient production & packaging workflow sequencing for multiple products by planning and generating work orders based on customer demand.
- Plan and prioritize production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Analyze and revise shipment plans as required with Sales and Supply Chain.
- Coordinate & determine human resources, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production & packaging demands.
- Schedule shifts & labour requirements according to production needs with Operations.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time, deliver to customer and within budget
- Participate and engage in the regular- and annual-cycle S&OP process, labour planning and CAPEX project planning with the Demand Planner, Sales, Operations and Project Manager
- Other projects, duties and tasks as assigned by management
What would you be bringing for the company?
Must have strong MS suite & Excel guru4 years of current experience working as a Production Planner (Food / Pharmaceuticals)Certificate or Diploma in Project Management / SCMP or equivalent, with strong preference to PMP certificationBachelor Degree or relevant academic studies in manufacturing and Mechanical Operations processes comprehensionExcellent knowledge of production planning and control principlesExperience with an ERP system (SAP ideal)Salary would be 60k-72k + benefit package!
