DEPARTMENT : Catering

SUPERVISES : Stewards

LOCATION : Offshore Newfoundland, Canada

JOB SUMMARY : Ensure that the galley management, cleaning activities, and the preparation of the meals contributes to an optimum care for the crew in compliance with safety, maritime and environmental regulations at all times.

PRE- REQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ships Cook or Equivalent
• At least One (1) year of relevant operational experience in professional catering for groups.
• STCW Basic Safety, Marine Medical, and Security Awareness
• Seafarer Discharge Book
• Valid Passport
• Experience with Making Healthy and Varied Menus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background / Pre-Employment Screening Checks
