Adecco is currently recruiting for aTraining Simulator Administrator. This is a 5-year Onsite contract opportunity in Petawawa, ON with the possibility of extension.

This role is with one of our public sector client based in Ottawa. The successful candidate must have a valid Secret Security Clearance .

The Training Simulator Administrator will have the following responsibilities :

  • Ensure the training simulators, both static and deployable systems, are configured and ready for all scheduled training events;
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance;
  • Respond promptly to use reported faults and coordinate with company support for resolution of complex technical issues;

Assist in the integration of new parts and features into the training simulator, ensuring seamless incorporation and functionality

Respond to incidents requiring part replacement or urgent adjustments, ensuing minimal downtime

Provide system operations training to the client’s user for effective us of static and deployable systems

  • Coordinate with company technical support for advanced troubleshooting and system enhancements;
  • Assist In maintaining compliance with training simulator standards and support the accreditation process as required;

The Training Simulator Administrator must meet the following mandatory requirements :

  • Must have Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant technical field such as computer science, engineering, or information technology;
  • Must have experience working on IT roles, troubleshooting, Configuring and maintaining hardware and software;

Must have experience as Joint Terminal Attack Controller(JTAC)

  • Must have a valid Secret Clearance;
  • Must have a accreditation support experience with training and simulator standards;
  • Must have strong understanding of system configurations and troubleshooting methodologies;
