As a Farpoint Designer, you will work directly with our Design team to help shape and develop new and refreshing approaches to crafting visual narratives for our clients, which are approachable, memorable, modern, and compelling.

What You’ll Do

Leading with imagination and iterative visuals, you will work to produce best-in-class assets which are unique, cohesive, and beautiful – for use in creatives across multiple mediums and channels (presentations, digital, web, social, landing pages). On Client work, you will be an integral part of a team typically comprising 3-5 consultants, actively contributing to every phase of the client engagement. Your responsibilities are to execute the highest quality of design throughout all phases of the process – sketching, refining working design prototypes, and final production.

You will facilitate/participate in brainstorms and critique with genuine interest in finding the best solution for engaging new and existing audiences.

Ensure that every brief meets business goals and creative standards. It is imperative that a consistent and cohesive brand language extends across departments.

You excel in your ability to define, establish, and explain various design standards used in high-quality outputs. Stay connected to the latest standards and trends in the design field.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Product Design, Interactive Art & Design, User Experience
• Outstanding record of academic achievement
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Exceptional creativity and innovation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and the local office language(s)

Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.

• End-to-end people. You're someone who can take something abstract, create a strategy and execute the plan to completion. You don't talk, you build.
• They say 'we' more than 'I' when recounting accomplishments. If they’re generous with giving others credit, we know they’re team players and will accept feedback.
• They talk about failures, not just wins. If you’re trying to bring new ideas into the world, you’re going to fail…a lot. How you recover and learn from pratfalls is the true test. Or as we say: “Fail often to succeed sooner.”
• They've spent time teaching as well as learning. Having an advanced degree shows diligence and mastery. Teaching shows you’re committed to making others successful, too.
• They’re nice to the receptionist. When the interview is over, we check with whoever’s manning the front desk to see how the candidate acted upon arrival. Were they polite and friendly or did they treat the receptionist poorly? If it’s the latter, we know they only relate well to those in their perceived social group. Not very empathic or human-centered.

We believe in asking for forgiveness, not permission. This goes for the job application process, too. Turning in a standard-issue résumé and cover letter won’t turn heads. Candidates who have wowed us have taken creative license and gone the extra mile to demonstrate their capabilities and passion. They’ve made video portraits, designed custom apps or, in one case, brought in a dancing robot.
