About Hadrian
Hadrian is a business unit of Zurn and a worldwide supplier of quality toilet partition and locker products. Position Overview :
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Intern to support our Sales and Customer Service teams. This is a "dual-threat" role : half of your time will be spent on the front lines managing customer touchpoints and sample logistics, while the other half will be dedicated to a strategic 80 / 20 Optimization Project to streamline our technical data and filing systems.
Responsibilities :
1. Front-Line Sales & Service Support (50%)
Sample Management : Own the "Sample Request" process—ensuring contractors and architects receive product samples accurately and on time to win bids.
Inbound Routing : Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, identifying customer needs and directing them to the appropriate technical or service expert.
Order Tracking : Assist the service department in providing real-time updates on shipment status and lead times.
2. 80 / 20 Strategic Project (50%) High-Visibility
Data & Technical Audit : Analyze and organize the "Vital Few" (the top 20%) of our technical data sheets and product specifications that drive 80% of our business volume. Information Architecture : Overhaul digital filing systems to ensure high-priority technical information is "one-click" accessible for the sales team.
Executive Presentation : This project culminates in a formal report and presentation to the Executive Leadership Team. You will be expected to present your findings, the efficiencies gained, and your recommendations for long-term file management and communication workflows.
Qualifications :
The "Bilingual" Communicator : Someone who can talk shop with a warehouse manager and stay professional with a corporate buyer.
The Organizer : A natural inclination to take "messy" data or files and create a logical, repeatable system.
Urgency : An understanding that in the building industry, a 24-hour delay on a sample can lose a million-dollar contract.
Tech Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must) and an ability to quickly learn CRM, ERP, Hadrian’s Project Center software.
Familiarity with construction materials, finishes, and building systems would be an asset.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
Studying for a degree in Marketing / Business, focus in construction within the B2B industry.
Detail orientated with excellent organization, communication (Written / Verbal) and people skills.
