We are currently seeking a Naval Architect / Marine Engineer for a contract role with one of our clients in Victoria, BC .

Job description :

• The Naval Architect / Marine Engineer Contractor will report to the Engineering Services Manager and provide technical support services as required, based on industry / RCN accepted practices and available technical documentation. This may include but not limited to :
• Prepare documented work scopes, suitable for the solicitation of quotations from external resources such as Original Equipment Manufacturers, suppliers, testing facilities or specialist service providers;
• Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and cost estimates for Customer approval; and
• Developing and reviewing technical job instructions and engineering work packages.
• Providing technical input into problems associated with equipment or system malfunction, including failure analysis and solution development .
