Airgas is Hiring for a Plant Technician in Maitland, ON!

We are looking for you!

• Plant Operations is 24 HRS.

• Shift are 8-8 rotating (2 weeks of Days, 2-Weeks of Nights)

• Safely Operate Plant Equipment

• Repair Equipment throughout the Plant

• Pay Range $25 per hour plus bonus

• Contributes to the operation of plant equipment in accordance with established operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.

• Performs preventive maintenance in accordance with established guidelines.

• Restores and maintains equipment throughout the facility.

• Documents maintenance performed and maintains machinery history files.

• Observes and ensures instruments are accurate during plant operation. Maintains proper logs and records related to plant operations.

• Loads trucks with products for shipping.

• Replaces chemicals in towers.

• Analyzes and tests products using analytical instruments including gas chromatograph and detector tubes.

• Participates in the Quality Improvement Process.

• Interacts with internal and external customers; continuously dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Mechanically Inclined

• Able to Work 12 HR Shifts

• Work in All Weather-the COLD and HEAT.

• Must be comfortable wearing all PPE
