Accounting Manager

Our client, a well-established and growing organization with multiple operating locations, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support its finance function. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, forecasting, cost management, and providing business insights to support operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Consolidate financial information from multiple business units and analyze overall organizational performance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes while maintaining strong internal controls and reporting standards.
• Oversee cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Analyze operational spending trends and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
• Partner with operational leaders to monitor key performance indicators, manage costs, and support profitability initiatives.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Develop financial analyses, variance reports, and models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Provide oversight and guidance related to day-to-day accounting operations, including payables and receivables functions.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance financial controls, reporting efficiency, and overall business performance.
