Job description
We are a loving family based in Sarsfield (Ottawa East) Ontario, looking to hire a part/full time nanny to care for our children primarily after school. We need someone who can provide attentive and nurturing care, helping with homework and engage in fun activities. Occasionally we may require someone to get them on the bus in the morning if possible and some weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary school-aged children and will be responsible for meal prep as well as occasional overnight care. We value safety and would appreciate someone certified in CPR. This is a live-out position. If you're passionate about supporting families and have the skills we're looking for, we would love to hear from you. We are also open to discussing part-time arrangements if that better suits your availability. Both myself and my partner working rotating schedules (I have 5 days off in a row) so the hours needed are not consistent as in “every Monday”; however, we can provide 3 months of scheduling in advance. The main hours would be getting the kids off the bus and caring for them until one of us arrives home (latest is 8:30pm).
