Location : Greater Toronto Area

Salary : $125,000 - $155,000

A leading General Contractor specializing in Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) new-build projects is actively seeking an accomplished Site Superintendent to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities :

  • Develop and oversee the construction schedule for new-build projects, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team, providing regular updates on project status, anticipated delays, or scope changes.
  • Lead a dedicated construction team, ensuring new-build projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Actively engage in the coordination of trades, fostering strong relationships to optimize project efficiency specific to new construction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Oversee quality control, ensuring all new-build work meets specified standards and client expectations.

    • Skills and Experience :

  • Construction Expertise : Demonstrated experience in managing new-build ICI projects from initiation to completion.
  • Leadership : Proven track record of effectively leading construction teams, ensuring project goals are met in new-build settings.
  • Communication : Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and trades to drive the success of new construction projects.
  • Experience : Minimum of 8+ years in a site supervision role within the construction industry, specifically with experience in new-build projects.
  • Education : Post-secondary degree / diploma in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
