The position of Communications Call Centre Attendant (also referred to as "Locating") is responsible for providing a direct communications interface to physicians, clinics, patients, OR's, emergency response and Public Health organizations within the Nova Scotia Health and its related affiliates. This position is responsible for receiving all internal emergency calls ( - CODE and trauma) and coordinating the appropriate response teams and personnel. This position integrates and manages the "on-call" duty sheets and coordinates communications to on-call staff and assignments such as Multi-Organ Transplant Program (MOTP), SAFE, Operating Room (OR) and Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) teams. This position is responsible for the operational needs of over 16, pager users, and provision of pager replacement and maintenance services.
