Job Title: Senior Rebar Detailer
Location: Dartmouth, NS | Full-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Rebar Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will create accurate rebar placement drawings, release bar lists for fabrication, and ensure all detailing aligns with structural designs and Canadian standards. This position requires specific rebar detailing experience; general construction or other structural detailing experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Produce placing drawings from structural drawings
Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with Canadian standards
Prepare and release bar lists for fabrication, including length, diameter, and bending requirements
Monitor drawing submission schedules according to project timelines
Communicate effectively with project managers and technical coordinators
Perform other administrative tasks related to detailing
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional rebar detailing experience
Experience must be specifically in rebar detailing
Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or Revit
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
