Job Description

This position involves working at the docks, loading and unloading trains and ships with steel coils. The role requires handling materials using forklifts in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload steel coils from trains and ships at the docks.
• Operate forklifts efficiently for material handling tasks.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory and shipments.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during loading and unloading operations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in forklift operations, with 3+ years of material handling experience in a heavy industrial or construction environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Comfortable operating a forklift outdoors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mobile construction forklifts and crane operations.
• Familiarity with sit-down forklifts, unloading, shipping, and receiving.
• External CB forklift operator certification.
