Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Fibreglass Trimmer at the Okotoks, Alberta plant. The trimmer will report to the Plant Manager. As a member of the Production Team, you will be responsible for trimming our fiberglass bathtubs and showers. This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment.
Essential responsibilities for this position include the following:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Able to speak, read and write using English language
Work Experience
• Minimum 6 months experience in fibreglass trimming required. Proof of employment certificates to confirm experience is required.
• Light machinery operation with certificates required
Skills
• Able to follow verbal instructions and use simple math skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions
• Employee will be required to work in potentially hazardous environments requiring provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Employee will be exposed to dust, hazardous chemicals, high temperatures and high levels of noise.
• Repetitive tasks within a fast-paced environment
