Experience :

  • Experience in Information Technology, with a focus in technical support and customer service
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting mobile devices; printers, multifunction devices, other peripherals
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 / 11
  • Practical experience supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving Windows, Hardware, Software, and basic networking issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft system tools like Active Directory, Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Exchange, Exchange Online, and Azure
  • Experience with wireless networks and VPN
  • Experience in customer service, in particular dealing with difficult clients

Considered an asset :

  • Experience supporting an Azure Hybrid Environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server, including some experience with Windows Server 2012r2, and 2022 datacenter
  • Experience installing and supporting VMware Virtualized environment
  • Experience in device management through the use of an MDM platform.
  • Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of MS Exchange, E-mail configuration and administration, as well as MS Active Directory, remote control tools and Group Policy Objects, MS Azure Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of productivity and performance tools such as MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio, M365, Teams and MS Project
  • Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks and supporting VPN / remote / wireless connections
  • Knowledge of supporting and troubleshooting both computer and mobile systems
  • Knowledge of tickets tracking tool, Freshdesk is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Linux administration and of various databases is considered a bonus

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to provide consultation and hands-on assistance to a client community
  • Ability to effectively manage time and establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution of issues

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services
  • Must have customer-focus mindset and soft skills to provide a relentless effort to deliver an amazing customer (user) experience.
