Position Overview
Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team with direction from professional personnel. The primary functions include communication/reception of clients, clerical tasks, appointment scheduling as required and environmental control. These duties are performed accurately and consistently to maintain a patient-friendly environment.
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years in an environment requiring public interaction and computer use.
- Prior experience with customer service-oriented position preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Minimum Grade 12, Manitoba standards, required.
- Medical terminology required.
- Successful completion of a Unit Clerk course is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
