Carpenter – Renovation Project (Richmond)

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Carpenter who’s ready to expand beyond the tools and step into a hybrid role that blends carpentry, site coordination, and quality control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow into site management while staying connected to the craft.

What You’ll Do

• Walk the site daily to identify, document, and report deficiencies using Procore.
• Work closely with the Site Superintendent to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain project quality.
• Coordinate with siding subcontractors and oversee installation details such as windows, doors, and flashing.
• Support general carpentry tasks as needed, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of carpentry experience, ideally on building envelope or renovation projects.
• Ability to obtain a government record clearance.
• Strong independent work habits and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence reading and interpreting contract drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to spot and address deficiencies.
• Personal tools, including a tool belt, cordless drill set, and skill saw.

Additional Assets

• Red Seal certification.
• Access to a personal vehicle.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software.

Work Environment

This role is based outdoors on a major renovation project in Maple Ridge/Richmond, involving 80 townhomes. You’ll work a steady 7:30 am – 4:00 pm schedule, with occasional overtime. The position involves regular client interaction and hands‑on coordination in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
