Bayshore is seeking passionate and caring Personal Support Workers to join our exceptional team. At Bayshore, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful moments for clients daily while providing exceptional care.

Guaranteed Hours & Stability: Enjoy a 60-hour bi-weekly guaranteed-hours contract with dependable income and participate in the ongoing on-call scheduling of clients.

Flexible Shift Options:

Day: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Overnight: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bayshore PSW, you will:

• Provide personal care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and emotional support to clients in their homes.
• Support clients with mobility, lifts, transfers, and body mechanics, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
• Promote skin integrity and prevent pressure injuries through diligent observation and proactive care.
• Deliver compassionate care to bed-bound and high-acuity clients, collaborating closely with nurses, therapists, and care coordinators.
• Serve a variety of clients across shared communities (Chatham, Sarnia, Windsor, and nearby areas). Travel may be required to maintain client continuity and meet guaranteed hours.
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team.

Job Qualification

Education:

Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Attributes:

Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English.

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:

2 supervisory references,

A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

Proof of being negative for TB.
